4C of Southern Indiana
provides a wide array of services, which are ultimately focused on
increasing the quality of the early care experience for children. 4C of
Southern Indiana, Inc. is a non-profit child care resource and referral
agency serving eleven counties in Southwestern Indiana and supported by the
Welborn Baptist Foundation, the Indiana Association for Child Care Resource
and Referral, and the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration,
Division of Family Resources, Bureau of Child Care.

education and recovery services to individuals with addictions and substance
abuse issues.

Aurora, Inc. exists to bring an to end homelessness in the
community. The agency provides direct services to people who are homeless
through prevention, outreach, assessment, intensive case management, tenant
education, massages, and rapid re-housing. In addition, Aurora is involved
in community development through promoting communitywide homeless
prevention, providing community education, advocating for homeless issues
and persons at a local, state, and national level, and collaborating with
many others in the community through implementing the strategies of "Destination:
Home," the communitywide ten-year plan to end and prevent
homelessness in Evansville and Vanderburgh County.

ECHO Community
Health Care, Inc. -- The mission of ECHO Community Health Care, Inc.
(ECHC) is to provide Affordable, Accessible, and Appropriate primary health
care to all individuals, including the uninsured, under-insured, and
homeless. Care is provided by dedicated professionals and volunteers in an
environment that promotes the client's self esteem and human worth, and
reinforces self-care management and positive lifestyle choices.
Comprehensive primary health care and social services are provided at three
clinic sites in Evansville. Sliding fee payment is available based on
household income. No one is denied services based on the ability to pay.
Medical outreach and homeless health services are provided daily and include
minor acute care, counseling, screening, and assessment. These services are
provided free of charge to anyone needing care at the area homeless
shelters, soup kitchens, schools, and social service agencies.

ECHO Housing
Corporation (EHC) was created by the Evansville Coalition for the
Homeless to focus on the development of transitional housing for homeless
families and affordable housing for low-income families. EHC currently
operates
Lucas Place,
a 20 apartment unit transitional housing facility,
New Start, 20-units of permanent supportive housing, and manages 30
units of affordable rental properties. EHC is also creating homeownership
opportunities with a single-family new construction project.

Mental Health
America of Vanderburgh County -- The mission of Mental Health
America of Vanderburgh County is to educate the community about mental
health issues and to promote mental health through awareness, advocacy and
service. We are an affiliate of National Mental Health America and one of
more than 40 affiliates located throughout Indiana and 340 nationwide.

provides a compassionate place where woman addicted to drugs and alcohol can
rebuild their lives.

United Caring
Shelters (UCS) -- The mission and vision of the Staff and Volunteers
at United Caring Shelters is to accept God’s invitation to respond to the
needs of those who are homeless with gracious hospitality, respect, kindness
patience, trust and support. We encourage our guests to a life of greater
dignity, self-worth and harmony, as we struggle for wholeness in our fragile
humanity. Each day nearly three hundred meals are served to men, women and
children, and each night 62 men stay in our night shelter. We also seek to
serve as a community that will actively work to increase awareness of the
issues of poverty and homelessness.
